Thank you Progressive team for an oil change and rear brakes on my Range Rover sport. I love the aftermarket brakes you recommended, I appreciated the loaner car for the day, and was pleasantly surprised with a car wash and vacuum! You’re all so friendly and pleasant and I had a lot of fun coming in for my first time! The photos/diagnostics was also really helpful for prioritizing and planning next repairs and maintenance. I felt well taken care of and I’m coming back next week for a new belt too!

Satisfied so far with the services. They have a flexible car drop off option. They are a specialized repair shop for German made vehicles so prices are a little high. Car wash after a service is included which is appreciated.

I can't say enough good things about this shop. When an issue came up down the road that traced back to earlier work they'd done, they didn't hesitate for a second, they looked into it right away, took full responsibility, and made it right without me having to push for anything. This kind of honesty and integrity is genuinely rare these days. It's clear they care about doing right by their customers, not just making a sale. I trust them completely and would absolutely go back. Highly recommend 🙂

Took my car here for some fluid changes. Also asked them to remove some oil as I had overfilled slightly during an oil change I did myself. I was impressed. They returned the car to me washed (a nice touch) and Jon spent a fair of time talking to me about various things related to my diesel and towing. They also charged me $5 for topping up my windshield washer fluid which I had just completely filled the day before, but they can't have known that, and $95 to syphon a bit of oil out from the dipstick, which is a ridiculous amount, since that would have taken less than 5 mins. But overall, great service. They did a visual inspection and sent me pics and gave me fair quotes which are right at normal prices for the work. I'd go back for Jon alone.

Overall, a very disappointing experience with the warranty process and customer service.
The battery was purchased and installed by this shop and I have all the original paperwork. I was told that the warranty only applies to the original owner and is no longer valid because I purchased the vehicle and the licence plate has changed. I find this warranty policy very questionable the battery and the purchase documents have not changed simply because the vehicle changed ownership.
What was especially frustrating is that nobody informed me about this limitation when I booked the appointment, despite me providing all the paperwork and clearly explaining the situation before booking. I spent time drove to the shop from the other side of the city and only after arriving was told that they would not provide warranty service.
I can’t comment on the quality of the work itself or the overall service, as my experience was limited to a warranty issue.

Sent my Audi A8 in for service and it required some additional work. The parts and labor were done right away and my car came back brand new. Highly recommend this shop for anything, ill be returning to get more work done for sure.

This is the ONLY shop I found in the city that was willing to do a leak and electrical repair, resolving huge issues with water entering the passenger compartment and dash lights flickering (which could lead to my car being unable to even start). Not only that, they came in at half the quoted price and finished the entire job in two days. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Great customer service. Attention to detail and quality is spot on. Inspection report and detailing are valued perks to a traditional service. Luxury treatment at normal shop pricing. If you love your car, take it to Progressive, they love it too.

Called on Monday morning to see if they had any openings. They did. I brought my car in Monday night and by tuesday at 10am i had a detailed report of what needed to be done sent to me. By 12 i was able to pick up my car and the inside and outside had been given a complimentary cleaning. What else do I need to say? I've gone to progressive before and they're consistently professional, insanely fast, and reliable. Would recommend to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about Progressive Auto and Maintenance!
I’m new to Victoria and so I don’t have a lot of experience in the auto service world here yet. I did a google search and Progressive Auto came up so I called them because my car was overheating and needed to be inspected. They were able to get me in the very same day, sent me a detailed inspection report just a few hours later, and had the repairs completed by the following afternoon. The turnaround time alone was impressive.
Shelby was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was friendly, efficient, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, she let me know that the original quote had been incorrect and actually waived the inspection fee, meaning I paid less than expected. That level of honesty and customer care is hard to find.
The exceptional service didn’t stop there. As I was getting ready to leave, I noticed a warning light that hadn’t been on before. I went back inside to ask about it, and the gentleman at the front desk (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) immediately came outside to take a look. He determined that my daytime running light bulb had burned out and offered to replace it free of charge. When they discovered they didn’t have the correct bulb in stock, he literally walked across the street to get one, came back, and installed it while I waited in my car.
From start to finish, the service was professional, honest, and genuinely above and beyond. It’s rare to find a shop that combines efficiency, transparency, and outstanding customer service the way Progressive Auto and Maintenance does.
I’m incredibly happy with my experience and will absolutely be returning for any future vehicle repairs or maintenance. I will also be recommending them to everyone I know who needs automotive work done.

I came to Progressive with my 2017 Audi SQ5 for a second opinion after taking it to Prospect Lake, I was astonished at the difference between quotes. I had a running code of P0175, but live data showed high positive fuel trims on both banks; bank 1 LTFT +49% and bank 2 LTFT +36%. When I got Prospect Lake to do a diagnosis I advised a smoke test be done to make sure there wasn't a leak in the PCV system but instead of doing one they assumed there was a leak based on the data they collected, when I got the quote back the cost seemed to be way overpriced and with no smoke test done I wondered on how they had come to this diagnosis other then using an OBD2 scanner to do a diagnostic. Anyway I decided based on their quote that I needed to get a second opinion and realized after looking up some more shops Progressive was much more suited to look at my vehicle as they are Audi specialists as well as experienced in other German vehicles. Once I got there and showed the service advisor Shayla the notes as well as explained to her that I was coming from another shop for a second opinion. She was very knowledgeable and was able to speak to what the problem could be and was able to go back and forth with me as to what there technicians would do, how they would take on the diagnosis and what I could expect. I was elated when she explained that they had a level 1 diagnostic that was the basic level diagnosis, as well as a level 2 that included the smoke test I had been asking to be done at Prospect Lake; but was never done even though they assured me I needed to replace the whole PCV system as well as the tubes and hoses connected to it. Shayla also assured me that there technicians would also do a once over of the whole vehicle at no extra cost. I told her that I would gladly approve a level 2 inspection and left the shop feeling like I had brought my vehicle to the place it should have been brought to in the first place; prospect lake is most likely still able to do good work on other vehicles but when it comes to the complexity of a German engineered vehicle you must go with a specialist and that's exactly what Progressive is. I was able to come pick my vehicle up once they were finished, Progressive had fixed the reason for the code as well as serviced my vehicle so it was working how it should. The amount I ended up paying at Progressive to get it decarbonized (reason for the code), lube oil and filter service, air filter service, disc brake pads & rotors-front still wasn't as much as Prospect Lake had quoted me to get a PCV system replaced that DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED! I would strongly recommend anyone with an Audi or a German vehicle bring it to Progressive as they went above and beyond my expectations, made me feel like I was being taken care of by professionals as well as being treated with respect. You are able to leave your vehicle there with confidence knowing they know what they are doing and that they are not going to just throw parts at problems hoping that it will fix the issue. I am sure I have found the shop I will always bring my vehicle to in the future for any mechanical problems that may arise. Thank you very much to Shayla (Service Advisor) & William (Technician). I have been a satisfied customer of Progressive Auto for the past 5 years. After a recent service I was advised of a minor engine oil leak that needed to be repaired. I pointed out this was repaired 4 years ago and was noticed by them after 2 years, at which time I was advised they would monitor. The owner of the business, Jason, became involved. When he had a full understanding of the history of what had transpired Jason took full responsibility for this and agreed the necessary repair would be done at no cost to me. I am happy to report this is what happened. The vehicle was taken into Progressive two days ago and the repair was completed as promised. Progressive Auto stands behind their work, thus the reason for all the positive reviews of this business.
I also want to add that the service advisors at Progressive are always friendly, welcoming and helpful.

I was so impressed with the customer service with the employees at the front desk . I have been bouncing around car shops trying to get my car issues fixed and have spent so much money and time in the process. The team at progressive asked extensive questions to understand the problem so they could help diagnose it . I was so impressed how accommodating they were at getting me in quickly and also having my car done and FIXED FINALLY!!! I recommend this shop to everyone I know because I’m so happy with my experience. Thanks Progressive team I will be seeing u guys again :)….but hopefully not to soon 🙂

I've been taking my Audi here for the past couple of years since I bought it. The staff at Progressive have always been extremely professional: excellent communication, work completed on time, and honest suggestions on maintenance work. The proces are better than the dealership and as far as I can tell the work quality meets or exceeds Audi's standards.
Most recently, the staff especially Shayla were very accomodating in fitting in some warranty work on short notice in order to get some expensive repairs covered for me.
Overall I can't recommend this shop enough. I don't think there are many other places I'd be comfortable taking my car in Victoria.

This is one of those shops where people are honest and hard working. These guys deserve a 7-star rating. I was on a road trip traveling through Victoria when my SUV started making strange sounds. These guys fit me in for the same day appointment, fixed the issue promptly, and did not even charge me for it saying "we did not do much". Amazing service. Highly recommend them.

Our experience was excellent. We broke down across the street, at 5:55 pm, and before 6:00 the car was in the shop. They looked at it the next day, and at 3:00, we had the car in our possession.
Communication was amazing and detailed. It was so helpful to know all the information about my car to make our decisions about the repairs needed.

I had a full vehicle inspection done and brakes replaced at Progressive Auto Repair and Maintenance and couldn’t be happier with the service. Not only was the work done professionally, but they also went above and beyond by noticing and fixing a disconnected vacuum hose and taking care of a door hinge that needed greasing at no charge —something small but important. Their attention to detail and care really stood out. On top of that, they offered me a courtesy car, which made everything so convenient. Truly top-notch service and great people. Highly recommend!

Progressive Auto repair is the most elite mechanic shop on Vancouver Island. I own a 2004 VW Jetta, over the years it’s had it normal age related wear and tear. Before finding Progressive Auto any car related issues would cause me so much stress, anxiety and worry but since taking my car to them I know my car and I are well taken care of. The service this shop delivers is beyond exceptional. On more than one occasion my car has had something come up and they have offered to take the car in on short notice and help me out, also offering a loaner car in the mean time. As someone who works in health care and has a very tight work schedule, this type of support is greatly appreciated. All the technicians are professional, knowledge and always go above and beyond. Recently, photos of you car before and after service are uploaded into a portal for the owner to view - This truly goes beyond exceptional service. Every time I leave after a completed service I truly feel like they have my cars best interest at heart and not just wanting my money. When you call the shop you are greeted by one of the front desk staff who are accommodating, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Shayla, who has worked there since I first started taking my car there, is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met who has the most immaculate vibes, I have so much appreciation for her help during every single visit and phone call. Shayla knows I am not well educated with car related things and knows I get anxious when my Jetta has an issue and every time I need something explained she does so in a way I can understand and doesn’t make me feel blockheaded.
For anyone who has a German car I cannot recommend service with Progressive Auto more, they are simply the best.

We rocked up with metal on metal brakes while visiting Victoria. They got us in the same day and had the problem fixed the following day. Absolutely stellar service and communication throughout. Super kind, practical, and respectful despite our vehicle being a bit of a beater. And they even had a cookie for our poor dog who was so done with being away from home.

They love their German cars! I think half the staff own an Audi, and it shows in their knowledge and commitment. I brought my beloved S5 for some mid-life repairs, and they treated the car like it was their own. The Audi dealership up the road treated me like my old S5 was a waste of their time, and would only follow the Audi-approved maximum profit formula (repair by selling you a new car). Progressive on the other hand looked at what was good, and what needed a bit of TLC, they delivered quickly, and for a reasonable price. Thanks team!

We have had this company help us with 3 cars now. Their customer service is amazing! They text you promptly with what they find and write out a detailed list of things they find that need attention. Great mechanical work! They even gave my son a hotwheels car after which he was over the moon about.

I had a great experience here. I often find dealing with car issues a little intimidating but I brought my car in at 1pm and in a few hours they emailed me the issue, how they fixed it, the invoice, and that it was ready to pick up. The price was also in the range that they estimated over the phone beforehand and in line with the other shop I called for an estimate. Easiest car related interaction I've ever had.
